Coaching Boys into Men
Coaching Men into Boys (CBIM) is an evidence-based program, developed by Futures Without Violence, that helps coaches and community leaders talk with student athletes about healthy relationships and healthy ways to use our strength. CBIM provides adults with training and tools to have brief, weekly conversations with groups of young men and boys, to increase social and emotional skills. Coaching Boys into Men (CBIM) leverages the critical role that leaders play in youth development. It promotes positive, healthy organizational norms and strengthens the relationships between adult leaders and the young men and boys they guide. Used globally, CBIM is now being introduced to the Charlottesville area by SARA, and we’re excited to bring its benefits to our community.
