SARA offers free and confidential therapy for men, women, and children of all ages who have been affected by sexual violence.
Therapy services at SARA are trauma-informed. Our Therapists are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Therapy services are offered in English or Spanish.
All prospective Therapy clients meet with a staff Advocate first to assess their needs and to determine the best fit for Therapy services. Referrals are made to therapists outside of SARA when appropriate.
If you are interested in SARA’s Therapy services, please contact our office at 434-295-7273.
